"In year 1990 I had an Audi 200 Quattro and best classification was in the Artic Rally fourth overall. Dei Städte Rally was again in 19th-20th of October we got far with Asko. On second last stage we hit a tree. We had to retire from third position. I drove same car in year -91, when best placing was in the Artic Rally, third overall. Co-drivers were Asko Sairanen and Lasse Hirvijärvi. In spring I bought a Mazda and I drove that in few rallies.In summer was Hesse Rally in Germany. My co-driver was Juha Vannesluoma. The engine broke down, so we had to retire. In October we were with Asko in Germany again, Köln-Ahrweiler Rally. We didn´t do very well, retirement, the gearbox broke." |

"By the end of the year 1991 I purchased a group N Mitsubishi Galant (co-drivers Asko Sairanen and in one rally Timo Hantunen). Result in -92 was bronze in group N. Best placing again was in Artic Rally, third overall. 22nd-25th of October Dei Städte Rally, with group N Galant and Asko Sairanen. We were 14th overall and 5th in group N. From Germany we headed to Belgium, Ralley Du Condroz in 6th-8th of November. Kari Mustalahti as co-driver and result was 17th overall and 5th in group N.

"I got in to Mitsubishi Ralliart Finland Team in year 1993 and then I was fifth in Finnish Championship and my co-driver was Kari Mustalahti. In 1994 I won group N Finnish Championship with Mitsubishi and in year -95 I got bronze in group N, only two points apart from first place. Co-driver was still Kari Mustalahti. As result by the end of year 1996 was 5th and in -97 I was 6th with my co-driver Petri Vihavainen."

"In the end of year 1997 I bought a Ford Escort WRC. Juha Kankkunen drove that car before. The Artic Rally on the next year started very well and I was at third place in overalls, when the clutch broke. In Lapua rally I was third overall just after Grönholm and Lindholm. In the last rally in Kuopio, I won the group A. Because I went off the road and damaged the car in Uusikaupunki Rally, I didn´t gain bronze in that year.
In year -99 I was third overall in Artic Rally and in the same year I drove third in group A in Finnish Championship with co-driver Petri Vihavainen. In the next year I drove only winter season and like many times before my best classification was in Artic Rally (5th overall). In year 2001 there were ten WRC cars, which started in Artic Rally. My result was 3rd overall (co-driver Aulis Ahonen)."

"In summer 2001 I participated Safari Rally in Kenya and when I hit the finish line, I was 11th in overalls and 5th in group N. My co-driver this time was Kari Mustalahti, who wrote a logbook from Safari, which you can read here."There was also Million Rally organized in a little village of Tuuri, where I live and that rally went also well, I was second overall."
